AOpen will showcase its offerings in a Digital Signage Store in Hall 10 stand R136 at ISE 2013. The company promises real-life scenarios in retail, demonstrating digital signage, interactive communications, wayfinding, digital surveillance and point of sale. All the scenarios are powered by AOpen hardware. The flagship product called Digital Engine powers the screens. This semi-industrial player is built for 24/7 use in vigorous environments to ensure a stable and long-lasting system. The Digital Signage Store will show:
█ The In-Store Multitouch Presenter: a 22inch touch display with integrated PC technology including pre-installed operating system (OS) and MultiTouch software suite offering a fully customisable and easy to install out of the box solution.
█ OpenSign offering a web-based touch-screen series now available in: 10inch, 19inch, 22inch and 42inch.
█ Intel’s AIM Suite on AOpen WarmTouch devices for real-time audience counting and analytics for retailers and brands.
and r3nlors will find the Enriched Reality demo particularly compelling. A large interactive wall displays interesting content and the challenge is how to identify and engage with a user in this scenario. The solution involves issuing users with a badge which includes a marker personalised for them. Users can then tag any content they like and the information is sent to the email address registered to the marker.
Another of MultiTouch’s world firsts, Hybrid Tracking, will be demonstrated at the show. Unique in the optical touch screen market, Hybrid Tracking renders MultiTaction cells immune to external lighting conditions. By addressing the issues caused by ambient lighting, MultiTouch has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for interactive displays in public spaces.
