Almost a year after the first public showing of its Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) videowall technology, Prysm has installed its first units in a retail outlet. The American Eagle Outfitters has equipped its flagship store in Manhattan’s SoHo district with multiple videowall displays, standing seven-feet tall.
Amit Jain, CEO of Prysm, explained why the retailer chose LPD:
“Prysm’s 25” panels are designed to be completely bezel-less, with a seam gap of just 0.2mm, the smallest on the market. The versatility of its modular design allows for the construction of videowalls in an exciting array of shapes and sizes, from columns, strips and archways to curved formations, allowing retailers to build highly creative displays that have instant impact and deliver a more engaging and immersive brand experience.”
