Steljes has signed an exclusive agreement with Phonak to distribute its range of Dynamic Soundfield classroom amplification systems in the UK. Phonak’s team of scientists and specialists have developed a new classroom amplification system called Dynamic SoundField, comprising of a wireless speaker microphone (inspiro) and the Red Dot award winning DigiMaster loudspeaker.
The inspiro microphone measures the noise level in the room and automatically adjusts its audio parameters to ensure the teacher’s words are amplified without increasing the overall noise level, allowing students to clearly hear and understand commands without the system creating feedback or echo. This is particularly important as research over the last 40 years has shown that noise has detrimental effects upon children’s performance at school, including reduced memory, motivation, and reading ability*.
